MIG Welder - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating steel components according to blueprints and work instructions while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders

• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently

• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble components prior to welding

• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality standards are met

• Operate basic fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, and hand tools

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols

• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Welding certificate or 2+ years experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Combination of schooling and on-the-job experience is advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
