We're hiring an experienced Welder to inspect, repair, and weld large spirally welded cylinders to meet quality and safety standards. THis is a DIRECT HIRE role!
What You'll Do
- Inspect welded cylinders for defects and make repairs
- Perform flux-core welding and use cutting torches and grinders
- Take accurate measurements and document repairs
- Maintain welding equipment and tools
- Keep your work area clean and safe
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
- Experience with flux-core welding (FCAW) required
- Must be able to pass a 3G welding test
- Welding experience with SMAW or SAW is a plus
- Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, crawl, climb, and work in various positions
- Able to climb vertical ladders
- Regularly lift up to 25 lbs. , frequently up to 50 lbs. , and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Comfortable working around machinery, noise, fumes, dust, and changing weather conditions
- Must be comfortable working at heights
