Customs Import Coordinator – Miami, FL

A leading global organization in the travel retail and logistics industry is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customs Import Coordinator to join its Miami team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong import/export experience who thrives in a fast-paced international environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with vendors, carriers, customs agencies, and warehouse operation

ties
Oversee and track incoming international shipments from multiple vendors and sup
pliersCoordinate with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to obtain required arrival documen
tationClassify shipments using U.S. Customs Tariff
codesProcess FTZ admission entries (CF214) and submit documentation throu
gh ACEMonitor cargo releases and coordinate warehouse deliveries and p
ickupsPrepare duty-paid entries for bonded merchandise, shortages, damages, testers, and promotional
itemsCreate and maintain internal inventory receiving documen
tationMaintain permit and master file records in compliance with U.S. Customs regul
ationsCalculate storage charges and coordinate payment requests when appl
icablePrepare and file discrepancy reports related to shortages or damaged
cargoEnsure compliance with FDA, USDA, and other governmental agency regul

ations

Qualif

ications
Minimum 3 years of experience in customs import coordination, international logistics, or a si
milar roleStrong knowledge of U.S. Customs Regulations, FTZ/CBW procedures, and import/export
operationsExperience working with ACE filing systems and customs doc
umentationIntermediate Excel skill
s requiredExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solv
ing skillsStrong attention to detail and analytical
abilitiesAbility to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a deadline-driven e
