Will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all data as it relates to our client files, cash receipts and for reporting. New client set up and reporting are among the task assigned to this position along with special projects as requested by Management. The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to multi-task without sacrificing quality of work and will have a strong desire to learn. The Billing Specialist must be detail oriented, have good listening skills, communicate effectively both written and verbally, and working knowledge of billing practices.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Daily preparation and posting of customer invoices within company software and web-based portalsAudit billing and communicate with other internal departments as necessary to ensure compliance with customer-defined special billing requirements.Communicate with customers to obtain all information necessary to produce complete and accurate invoices and prevent payment delays.Verify with customers to ensure special billing requirements are current and accurately reflected in our systemFully understands the need for accurate data entryAll other tasks or duties as designated by managementAR experience preferred, but not requiredProficient in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Excel10-key by touchProfessional demeanorStrong organizational skills with attention to detailExceptional time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills required to engage with vendors and internal staff/management to exchange information, negotiate, influence and persuadeAbility to manage multiple priorities and work towards deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills and flexibilityExperience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsWorks independently and within a team and all levels of internal management and staffPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:The physical demands and working conditions requirement indicated below are examples of the demands that must be performed in carrying out the essential job functions.Physical Demands:Office employees typically sit for long periods and perform tasks that require fine motor skills, such as typing or using a mouse.
