About the position We are seeking an experienced and motivated Legal Assistant to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting attorneys in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury matters , excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate professionally with clients.

Spanish fluency is required , as the position involves frequent communication with Spanish-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys handling Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury cases
\n
• Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, opposing counsel, and other parties
\n
• Assist with opening, maintaining, and organizing client files
\n
• Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and other case-related materials
\n
• Assist with gathering medical records, bills, and other documentation
\n
• Maintain case calendars, deadlines, appointments, and follow-up tasks
\n
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, appointments, documentation, and other case-related matters
\n
• Assist with preparation for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings
\n
• Enter and maintain accurate case information in the firm’s case management system
\n
• Perform general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Prior legal assistant experience required
\n
• Experience with Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury law strongly preferred
\n
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
\n
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases and deadlines
\n
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
\n
• Knowledge and experience using Clio Manage is a plus
\n
• Experience with other legal case management software is also a plus
\n
