Job Responsibilities

• Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their individual functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Employ evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals such as OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide integrated, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers therapeutic techniques that promote ongoing success at home
• Track Progress and Outcomes: Monitor clinical advancements and modify treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications

Required Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
