Job Responsibilities

• Tailor Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create personalized therapy plans aimed at achieving their functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living functions
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work synergistically with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones in therapeutic practices to support ongoing progress at home
• Evaluate and Record Outcomes: Monitor patient development and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective progress

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education or advanced certifications highly encouraged and supported

Certifications and Licenses

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license in good standing
• NBCOT certification required
