Job Responsibilities

• Create Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and develop tailored therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide comprehensive and integrative care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families in therapy methods to reinforce progress at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on course.

Educational Background

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Continuing education or additional certifications encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification needed
