Job Description

• Create Tailored Therapy Programs: Assess patients' unique needs and devise individualized treatment plans that help them achieve their personal goals.
• Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize research-informed practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Provide education and support to patients and caregivers to promote progress and independence at home.
• Evaluate and Record Progress: Monitor clinical developments, making adjustments to therapy as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.

Education

• An accredited Occupational Therapy degree
• Opportunities for continuing education and post-graduation certifications available

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT certification essential
