Location: Great Bend, KS

Shift: Day Shift, 36 hours/week, potential OT

Hours/week: 36

Employment Type: Full-Time

License/Certs: Kansas RT license, NBRC CRT/RRT, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP

Experience: 6 months in critical care preferred; new grads with clinical check-offs considered

Hourly Pay Range: $28.57 - $37.84 (based on experience and shift differentials)

Shift Differentials: Evenings: $2.30/hr, Nights: $3.75/hr, Weekend: $3.00/hr (Friday 7 PM – Monday 7 AM)

What You'll Do

• Perform Epic and bedside medication verification routinely
• Work independently in critical care areas following clinical check-offs
• Administer all modes of respiratory therapy across hospital units
• Assess patient needs and recommend appropriate therapy per RT protocols
• Mentor students and new staff members
• Assist in clinical instruction and training
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What You Need

Required:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
• Kansas Respiratory Therapist (RT) license
• NBRC CRT/RRT credential
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• Basic computer skills

Preferred:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field
• Additional respiratory education or experience
• Experience in critical care environments
• Prior clinical instruction experience
