Full- Time Career Preparation & Partnerships Manager

Overview Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking a highly qualified Full‑Time Career Preparation & Partnerships Manager in the Student Affairs Division. The position is located on ATC’s Main campus, just south of downtown Atlanta. Responsibilities The Full‑Time Career Preparation & Partnerships Manager, under the general supervision of the Vice President of Student Engagement, leads the strategic initiatives of the Center for Workforce Innovation (CWI) to enhance employer engagement, facilitate student placements, and align workforce development initiatives with industry needs. Key responsibilities include: Lead and inspire a diverse team to implement a comprehensive employer engagement strategy. Design and execute an innovative engagement strategy that strengthens partnerships and enhances opportunities for student career placements. Create and manage an account management plan with service level agreements (SLA’s) for employer partners. Identify and research potential sponsor employer partners and coordinate engagement efforts. Conduct regular discussions with employers to gather feedback on talent needs and evaluate program effectiveness. Implement systems for tracking graduate placements and employer interactions, and analyze data to inform program improvements. Build and oversee a comprehensive list of work‑based experiences and post‑graduation placement opportunities for ATC students. Ensure students understand job application skills, interview techniques, and workplace integration through workshops and counseling. Develop and manage an efficient placement system for students, coordinating between students and employers. Coordinate engagement and placement activities for special populations and those requiring workplace accommodations. Collaborate with college services to enhance the workforce pipeline and build relationships with local community networks. Recommend policy and procedural changes to meet program goals and ensure compliance with TCSG policies and state/federal regulations. Oversee the financial and budget operations of the department. Monitor personnel activities for compliance and conduct evaluations to support staff development and program effectiveness. Deliver impactful presentations about the college’s programs, labor market conditions, and trends to stakeholders, employers, and community partners. Organize job fairs, industry presentations, and on‑campus employer engagement events. Complete administrative reports, maintain records of student and employer interactions, and track placement statistics for funding purposes. Perform other duties as assigned. Two (2) years of related work experience may also be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
