Lab Assistant - Molecular

Labcorp seeks a Lab Assistant for molecular work in Phoenix to receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing. The role includes equipment maintenance, data entry, and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety standards in a night-shift production environment.
Responsibilities * Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing and analysis
* Scan and enter specimen and patient information into laboratory systems
* Perform equipment checks and minor instrumentation maintenance
* Troubleshoot specimen-related issues and maintain work area safety
* Complete administrative logs and follow Standard Operating Procedures Requirements * High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* One or more years laboratory, clinical, or diagnostic setting experience
* Specimen processing, accessioning, or sample handling experience
* Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
* Comfort handling biological specimens and pass color blindness test
* Ability to work night shifts (Tuesday-Saturday, 10 pm-6:30 am) with overtime
