Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners as a part-time school psychologist working onsite with preschool-aged students. Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Illinois School Psychologist license
- Meets state and discipline-specific qualifications for school-based psychologists
- Prior experience with preschool or early childhood populations is highly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable working collaboratively with educators, families, and other school professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Develop and implement age-appropriate interventions and support plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address developmental, behavioral, and academic concerns
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with state and district guidelines
