Associate Planner & Scheduler II, Project Controls (Hybrid Schedule)

Associate Planner & Scheduler II, Project Controls – Westwood, MA. The role requires a hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and the option to work up to five days onsite if needed. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office when required. Key Responsibilities As the Associate Planner & Scheduler II, Project Controls, you will plan, schedule, manage, and report on the Transmission Organization’s Capital, Maintenance, and Distribution Projects. Your tasks include establishing, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting costs and schedules for project activities across the portfolio. Develop, maintain, analyze, and manage project activities and resources to support department requirements. Establish, monitor, and report on baselines for cost and schedule. Assist in determining internal and external engineering and construction resource solutions to meet objectives. Identify resources and constraints in the schedule and forecast future demands. Communicate project status and resource loading with team members and management. Identify and communicate project plan changes, advising on potential conflicts and solutions. Expedite plan changes and coordinate resource reallocation to accommodate changes. Evaluate forecasts to ensure desired results are achieved. Develop alternative solutions for resource constraints, schedule conflicts, and cost overruns. Participate in intra‑ and inter‑departmental activities to ensure adherence to schedule and guidelines. Support project managers, stakeholders, and Transmission & Engineering Controls & Contracts in determining department resource solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent (preferred). 18 months to 5 years of project controls, planning, and scheduling experience using Primavera P6 (5 or better preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to use PC desktop applications. Strong multitasking, detail orientation, and communication skills. Ability to coordinate and implement actions to achieve goals and targets. Technical Skills Project scheduling experience with Primavera P6. Knowledge of project management theories and methodologies. Experience coordinating engineering and construction resources. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in an office environment requiring sitting, standing, and general movement. Tasks include repetitive typing and writing, reaching with hands and arms, and occasional standing, walking, stooping, or bending. Travel to Eversource office locations, project sites, and contractor sites may be required, as well as emergency storm assignments when necessary.
