Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' relationship dynamics and mental health status.
• Engage with clients to identify presenting issues, ensuring an empathetic and supportive therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with families to develop practical and effective treatment plans that encompass both individual and collective needs.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to guide clients through their healing processes.
• Document treatment progress and client interactions comprehensively, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• Provide expert testimony when relevant and prepare detailed reports that serve as critical evidence in legal contexts.
• Assist clients in navigating external resources, including community services, educational support, and additional mental health services.
• Facilitate workshops or support groups aimed at enhancing family cohesion and resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele consists of individuals and families from varied backgrounds, facing challenges such as marital issues, emotional trauma, adolescent behavioral concerns, and intergenerational conflicts. By understanding cultural nuances and employing culturally responsive practices, you will contribute to our mission of improving mental health outcomes within the community.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid LMFT license in the state of Texas is essential.
• Completion of at least one year of supervised clinical hours, demonstrating practical experience in therapy.
• Strong adeptness in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly in individual, couple, and family therapy.
• Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills to identify mental health and relationship issues effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health setting and familiarity with telehealth practices is preferred.
• Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations is highly valued.
• Background in legal aspects of therapy, including experience providing testimony in court or legal proceedings, is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $80,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a substantial salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
