Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerAtrium is seeking on behalf of our client an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations, oversee the month-end close, manage a small accounting team, and partner closely with senior finance leadership. This role is ideal for someone looking to step into an Accounting Manager position and allow you to be a part of process improvements and change management.ResponsibilitiesManage the monthly close processDirectly supervise Staff AccountantsOversee the balance sheet reconciliation processHelp to strengthen accounting systems, controls, and financial processesIdentify process gaps and implement improvementsCoordinate with auditors, government agencies, and tax advisorsAssist senior finance leadership with accounting, reporting, and other strategic projectsRequirements5+ years of progressive accounting experienceBig 4 or large public accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldActive CPA requiredLarge ERP experience requiredIf eligible under the ACA, medical, dental and vision benefits and time off in accordance with local paid sick time laws will be offered.
