Job Description Job Description Full job description FULL TIME Accountant * On-site in Columbia, Maryland * 40 hours per week | 9:00AM to 5:00PM Maximum Support Services is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with DDA experience to support our mission of empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. LTSS experience is a plus. About the Role You will support the financial integrity of our DDA and LTSS programs through daily accounting tasks, billing, reporting, and audit support. Key Responsibilities * Manage accounting functions related to DDA/LTSS billing and reporting * Maintain financial records and reconcile accounts * Prepare monthly financial statements and reports * Oversee payroll compliance * Monitor budgets and provide updates to leadership * Coordinate with auditors, funders, and state agencies Qualifications * Preferred: Experience with LTSS and DDA billing * Bookkeeping/accounting background (human services experience preferred) * Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting * Strong understanding of Medicaid billing and compliance * Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Benefits include: * Health/ Vision/ Dental * 401 (K) Retirement Plan * Sick and Vacation time * Paid Holidays * Paid training Application Question(s): * Are you proficient with QuickBooks, ADP, or other accounting software? * Do you have hands-on experience with LTSS accounting software? * Do you have any experience or familiarity with DDA and iCare systems?
