Job Title: Parts and Room Supervisor - Maintenance

Role:

 

The Parts and Room Supervisor handles day to day inventory responsibilities, to ensure we have in stock, all the components and parts to maintain and repair the equipment, and support the production and maintenance teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Enter data into SAP
• Anticipate and determine causes of lack of parts take appropriate actions to meet production schedules
• Ensure all work orders are entered correctly
• Track daily time sheets
• Assist with dispersal of employee supplies
• Clean and organize the stock room
• Ensure cycle counts are performed and entered with accuracy in the system
• Support the coordinator in locating and retrieving parts requested by maintenance personnel

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience or training
• Microsoft office
• Clerical (including answering telephone, typing and filing documents)
• Knowledge of computer and data entry
• Experience in SAP a plus
• Mathematical and analytical abilities are required
• Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
• Good interpersonal skills for interacting with other departments
• Detail oriented and strong analytical skills
• Highly organized
• Spanish/English bilingual desired but not required

Work Environment:

 

• Plant working environment.
• Food Manufacturing Operations environment.

 

 

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years in a food manufacturing plant or similar; meat experience preferred
• College diploma or University degree; or an equivalent combination of related experience and education

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversee a the parts room coordinator

 

 

 

 

 

 

Education:

• College Degree preferred not required
