About the Position

Job Title: ICU Nurse-Staff II Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3+ years of RN ICU experience License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Comfortable and proficient in managing neuro patients. Experience with various ICU skills and procedures. Willingness to float to other units as needed. Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts each week. The unit caters primarily to neuro patients, so expertise in this area is essential. Nurses must be flexible and willing to float to different units based on patient census and needs. Floating may be required with minimal notice prior to shift start time. The typical patient ratio is 2:1 during shifts. The facility offers support from interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services. The nurse will be responsible for a range of critical care nursing tasks and patient management. Holiday time off requests are limited to one holiday per contract. All compliance documents must be completed within established deadlines. Travel experience is required for this position. Nurses must demonstrate proficiency in a variety of critical care procedures and skills.
