IT Technical Support Representative

: Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Information Technology (IT) Technical Support Representative performs supervisory work involving Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada (BGCSNV) IT systems and infrastructure. The IT Technical Support Representative is responsible for the overall function and maintenance of all IT systems and software and the day-to-day mechanical functioning of physical units. The IT Technical Support Representative works closely with the department team and maintains working relationships with Clubhouse Leadership and other organizational staff to identify solutions for any IT related processes. The IT Technical Support Representative will be required to complete maintenance, set-up of new units, and ticketing system. The essential job duties for this role include: IT Technical Support

• Provide support for end-user technical support with computer hardware, software, peripherals, networking, and network infrastructure.
• Performs daily operational support on computer Operating Systems to include system security, access, configuration, backups, and restores.
• Specifies hardware requirements and provides Computer Authorization and custodial receipt listings to track equipment configurations and identification logs.
• Monitors daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Works with Management to ensure appropriate access and permissions for users.
• Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.

Customer Service

• Provides excellent responsiveness and strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Maintains a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Other Duties

• May be required to assist with BGCSNV special events.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in computer technology, information technology, or a related field.
• At least two (2) years of experience as a computer technician.
• Extensive knowledge of computer skills, including Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows Server 2008 R2 or later), Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/ PowerPoint/ Outlook), Google suite of productivity applications, web browsers (Internet Explorer 11 or later) and email (Outlook 2013 or later).
• Microsoft MCP or MCSE certifications.
• CompTIA's A+, Network+ or Security+.
• Strong fundamental understanding of technology, including networking, cloud computing, security, and other IT infrastructure areas.
• Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints and handle multiple demands.
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills. Ability to interact professionally with the public, vendors, and other professional staff.
• Able to work occasional irregular or extended hours.
• Valid Nevada driver's license and a good driving record. Use of a personal vehicle may be required with reimbursement for mileage at standard IRS rates.
