Seeking full time person to estimate out jobs for well established handyman service. Must have at least 10 years of proven solid construction experience. Position requires taking over job costing and supply pricing for all customer projects. Must also have proven customer service skills to deal with customers directly and over the phone. Need to have demonstrated ability to work independently and initiator to tackle new challenges. Will need to be able to engage with service techs regarding jobs. Must be detail oriented and computer literate with clean drivers license.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the estimating process for projects from start to finish
• Review project plans, specifications, and other contract documents
• Collaborate to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
• Analyze project requirements and develop cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment
• Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers
• Monitor project budgets and track costs
• Provide guidance and support to the service tech field team

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards
