• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM 11:00 PM (15002300); Every Other Weekend required
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract LPN/LVN position at a nursing facility/nursing home in Clifton Springs, NY. The role is an evening shift (5x8) assignment within a long-term care setting, requiring an active New York Single State LPN license.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within a Nursing Facility / Nursing Home setting at a 1:10 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Apply Behavior Management Techniques in patient care
• Care for patients with Degenerative Disorders including Alzheimer's, ALS, and Parkinson's
• Obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG as required
• Float within skillset as required
• Be available to work every other holiday, if needed
• Submit RTO, block, and special scheduling requests upon submission

Required Skills

• Nursing Facility / Nursing Home experience is required
• Behavior Management Techniques
• Degenerative Disorders (Alzheimer's, ALS, Parkinson's)
• Ability to obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to float within skillset

Education Requirements

• Active New York Single State LPN license required (NY is not a Compact state; pending license not accepted)
• BLS certification required
• NY STATE LPN LICENSE required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Setting: Nursing Facility / Nursing Home (long-term care)
• Patient ratio: 1:10
• Floating required within skillset
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• Call-off policy: The client may cancel (call off) up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
• First-time travelers accepted: Yes
• Locals accepted for LPNs (ask recruiter for rate details)

Important Notes

• MUST HAVE NY LICENSE TO SUBMIT Active New York Single State LPN license is non-negotiable; pending licenses are not accepted
• RTO, block, and special scheduling requests must be submitted upon submission
• NY is not a Compact state only a NY Single State LPN license satisfies this requirement
