Staff Accountant (West Palm Beach)

Our client, a well known real estate firm is seeking an AP/AR Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. This position is ideal for a Staff Accountant or Accountant with 2+ years of experience who has strong hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and workpapers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day AP and AR functions, including invoices and payments
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Maintain and prepare accounting workpapers
• Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies
• Support general accounting and month-end close activities
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial records
• Utilize Ariba for procurement/invoicing processes

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong AP/AR experience
• Hands-on experience with journal entries and workpapers
• Staff Accountant or Accountant background preferred
• Experience within a professional services environment required
• Real estate industry experience strongly preferred, but not required
• Ariba experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to work onsite in West Palm Beach 4 days per week
