Title: Desktop & Application Support Location: Irvine, CA Duration: 6 Months Pay Rate: $40/hr - $50/hr What You’ll Do Administer our Microsoft 365 (E5) tenant, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Defender, and Purview workloads Provide hands-on, onsite support for company PCs and laptops — troubleshooting hardware, OS, peripheral, and application issues Manage the full device lifecycle through Microsoft Intune: Autopilot provisioning, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment, and Windows Update rings Manage user access to SaaS applications, including provisioning/deprovisioning, SSO integration, license assignment, and group-based access Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets within SLA, escalating to vendors or senior engineering as needed Maintain documentation for procedures, standard configurations, and known issues Partner with the security team to enforce endpoint compliance, conditional access, and data protection policies Own new-hire onboarding (device provisioning, account setup, application access) and clean offboarding of departing employees What We’re Looking For 3+ years of hands-on desktop and application support experience in a Windows enterprise environment Demonstrated proficiency administering a Microsoft 365 tenant, including E5-tier workloads (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Purview, Entra ID P2) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Intune — policy authoring, app packaging and deployment, Autopilot, Windows Update for Business Experience managing user access and identities across SaaS applications, including SSO (SAML/OIDC) and group-based provisioning Working knowledge of Active Directory and hybrid identity via Entra Connect Comfortable writing PowerShell for automation, reporting, and bulk administrative tasks Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical users Customer-service mindset with a strong sense of ownership Nice to Have Experience administering BeyondTrust Password Safe or comparable privileged access management (PAM) platforms (CyberArk, Delinea, One Identity Safeguard) Experience with identity governance or SaaS access management tooling Familiarity with Conditional Access design and Zero Trust principles MatchPoint Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
