Service Technician | $16-17 | Monday-Friday 8a-5p or 11a-8p with rotating Saturdays

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair, Vending Machines / Appliance Repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently. The Service Technician will also be responsible for property maintenance tasks and may be required to drive a company van to various job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in various equipment, Vending Machines and appliances
• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used during service calls
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding the status of repairs and any necessary follow-up work

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in equipment or appliance repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various systems.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters, effectively.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while handling multiple service requests.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check.

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
