Phlebotomist Specialist-Client Office

Labcorp is looking for a Phlebotomist in Gainesville, GA. Work schedule: Monday - Friday7:45am – 4:45pm with a 1‑hour lunch break; Saturdays may be required. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments as required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program. Two (2) years or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Five (5) years or more of phlebotomy experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is required.
