A reputable wealth and business management firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join their team. This firm specializes in providing comprehensive financial services to clients in the television, film, music, production, and publishing industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and client relationship management, with experience in the entertainment sector being highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their financial needs and inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their unique financial goals and providing tailored solutions.

• Financial Oversight:

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations for clients, including budgeting, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting.

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.

• Tax Preparation and Compliance:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Stay informed about current tax laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance to clients.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal departments, including tax and bookkeeping teams, to coordinate and deliver comprehensive financial services.

  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and implement best practices within the client management process.

  • Utilize financial software and tools to streamline workflows and improve client service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or business management, preferably within the entertainment industry.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining client relationships.

• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with tax preparation and compliance for high-net-worth individuals and entertainment professionals is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Datafaction or similar financial management software.

• Knowledge of financial issues specific to the entertainment industry, such as royalty accounting and tour budgeting.

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage client portfolios effectively.
