Legal Intake Specialist

Growing PI & Workers Compensation Law firm seeks Legal Intake Specialist. A legal intake specialist serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients and forms relationships with professionals in similar roles at other firms to provide and receive referrals as needed. Responsibilities: Interview prospective clients by phone and email to become familiar with their cases. Notate case-relevant information. Evaluate prospective clients’ claims to determine whether they align with the firm’s areas of practice and experience. Enter client information into the firm’s software application. Perform administrative support tasks and create follow-up tasks to assist with duties. Obtain signed retainer agreements. Qualifications: Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to make prospective clients feel valued and welcomed. High level of empathy in all communications. Strong listening skills to accurately understand client claims. Ability to conduct effective interviews during accident investigations. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Organizational skills to manage client information efficiently. Ability to multitask and handle multiple inquiries swiftly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows OS, and Outlook.
