Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and professional development
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care on the PCU/Telemetry unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry or PCU nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced PCU or step-down telemetry environment
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and protocols
