Role: MDR – Packaging Engineer II

Location: Lafayette, CO – 100% Onsite

Duration: 12 Months

Experience: 3+ years: Medical Devices / Medical Surgical Products

We are looking for a Packaging Engineer II to support packaging development, validation, and manufacturing activities for medical surgical products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute packaging validation protocols and reports in compliance with ISO 11607 and ASTM standards.
• Design, develop, and test packaging systems for medical device products.
• Identify and lead packaging cost-reduction initiatives.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing teams on packaging systems and machinery.
• Support packaging changes, documentation, GMP activities, and manufacturing projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of packaging engineering experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Experience with packaging validation, ISO 11607, and ASTM standards.
• Knowledge of packaging systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
