Senior Product Counsel

Serving as the primary legal partner to product, engineering, and design teams, the full-time Senior Product Counsel will provide legal, business, and strategic counsel throughout the product life cycle for stablecoins, payments, and crypto infrastructure while working remotely and collaborating cross-functionally with various teams. Key responsibilities Own the legal advisory relationship for product teams, providing day-to-day legal guidance throughout the product life cycle Advise on U.S. and international regulatory requirements, including money transmission laws and banking regulations Drive resolution of novel legal issues by identifying risks and partnering with specialized colleagues across Legal Required qualifications J.D. with 7+ years of legal experience, preferably in-house at a fintech or consumer technology company Deep familiarity with U.S. and global payments/financial services regulations applicable to crypto products Demonstrated ability to provide risk-adjusted legal guidance in ambiguous legal environments Track record of embedding with cross-functional teams and independently driving legal workstreams Experience utilizing generative AI responsibly to improve workflow efficiency and quality
