Insurance Processing Coordinator
$24.77 - $37.16 per hourSeattle Children's
Meet payor authorization requirements to ensure maximum reimbursement. Collaborate with patients, families, healthcare providers and other internal staff to address a wide variety of patient health insurance matters. Location & Employment Type This is a hybrid remote position and must be based in Washington state. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum two years of experience in a health care delivery setting with primary duties in a patient access or revenue cycle position, with responsibility for obtaining or following up on health insurance authorizations; or six months in the Revenue Cycle Coordinator position and completion of the full Revenue Cycle rotation. Required Credentials N/A. Preferred AA degree or greater. Previous experience as a Family Services Coordinator or significant experience working with the general public in a health care customer service or revenue cycle position. Medical billing/coding experience. Training and experience with continuous process improvement. Bilingual Skills and Familiarity With Other Cultures N/A. Compensation Range $24.77 - $37.16 per hour Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full‑time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
