Overview Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the South Dallas, TX location. This full‑time position (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am‑5 pm) requires no weekend, on‑call, or major holiday coverage. The role supports the Infusion Department and involves providing nursing care, patient education, and working with a supportive team. Assess patient/family needs, provide teaching and instructional material. Prepare and administer therapies under physician direction and supervision. Administer all medications/blood products using correct medication, dosage, route, time, and technique. Ensure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained before therapy administration where applicable. Facilitate dose modification by assessing patient, labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose, and consulting physician regarding dosage modifications, problems, and symptom management. Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices. Maintain accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided. Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited professional nursing education program; BSN preferred. 0 to 3 years of RN experience in a relevant setting. Willing to consider entry, mid, or senior level candidates. Current RN state license in the practicing state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Working Conditions The work environment is an oncology/hematology clinic.
