Department: Finance Reports To: Accounting Supervisor Hours: Flexible, between 10-30 hours/week. Pay Range: $25–$30/hour Location: Minneapolis / Hybrid Position Summary The Finance Associate is responsible for supporting the daily financial operations of the organization by performing entry‑level accounting and administrative functions. This role primarily supports the Finance team, with opportunities to assist other departments as needed. Key Responsibilities Primary Duties (90%) Process incoming gifts and receivables accurately and efficiently. Set up and maintain ACH information for vendors and grantees. Secure verbal confirmation of sensitive banking details. Additional Duties (10%) Provide general administrative support as needed. Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications for Success Education & Experience Associate degree and 2+ years of related experience – OR – Bachelor’s degree in a related field and relevant experience Technical Skills Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems Experience with: Accounts receivable Spreadsheets and templates Word processing and general office software Preferred Experience Nonprofit or foundation finance Salesforce and/or Stellar iPhi Relational databases and/or business intelligence tools Working Conditions General office environment; extended periods of work at a computer. Hybrid schedule: Typically, 2 days per week in-office. Finance team is typically in the office on Monday & Wednesday. Hours 9:00 am‑2:00/3:00 pm (somewhat flexible) #J-18808-Ljbffr
