Corporate Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist – Assisted Living Position Summary: This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable for designated assisted living facilities, maintaining accurate monthly census data, posting cash receipts, processing monthly billing, including Medical Assistance, and handling collections, refunds, insurance claims, and reporting. The position prepares monthly balances, aged trial balances, audit materials, and year-end Certificates of Rent Paid (CRPs). It also oversees tenant relations by marketing apartment units, managing leases, coordinating maintenance repairs, collecting rent, and addressing delinquent accounts. Strong customer service is essential, as the role interacts regularly with residents’ families, staff, and visitors while upholding professionalism, confidentiality, and punctuality. Additional responsibilities include answering phones, supporting office functions, attending trainings and meetings, staying current on policies, and promoting quality improvement and resident rights. Qualifications: Proficient in basic bookkeeping skills. Familiar with office equipment and be proficient in computer skills. Excellent communication skills. Able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
