AUTO HAUS of Yorktown and Williamsburg is a trusted name in automotive sales and service, dedicated to providing customers with an exceptional buying and ownership experience. We're growing our customer engagement team and looking for a friendly, tech-savvy communicator to join us as a Chat Support Representative.

Position Summary

The Chat Support Representative is the first point of digital contact for customers visiting our website and online platforms. This role is responsible for engaging website visitors in real time, answering questions about vehicles, services, financing, and appointments, and guiding customers toward a positive next step whether that's scheduling a test drive, booking a service appointment, or connecting with a sales or service advisor.

Location: United States (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming customer chats across dealership website and digital platforms
  
• Answer questions about vehicle inventory, pricing, features, financing options, and service offerings
  
• Qualify leads and schedule appointments (sales test drives, service visits) for the appropriate team
  
• Route more complex inquiries to the correct department or team member
  
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM/chat system
  
• Follow up with customers as needed to ensure inquiries are resolved
  
• Meet response-time and customer satisfaction goals
  
• Stay current on current inventory, promotions, and dealership policies
  
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure a seamless customer handoff
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
• Prior experience in customer service, sales support, or chat/call center environment preferred
  
• Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and attention to detail
  
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple conversations simultaneously
  
• Comfortable navigating CRM software, chat platforms, and basic computer applications
  
• Automotive industry knowledge a plus, but not required
  
• Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
  
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends as needed
