Mid Level Water/Wastewater Engineer

Overview Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Mid Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to help support project delivery. Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on projects of various sizes Manage budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards Design engineering plans, prepare reports, develop specifications, and prepare cost estimates for water projects Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; perform data entry, analysis, and construction phase support Supervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and other assistants on specific assignments Qualifications Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering 6–12 years of applicable experience Experience in water treatment facilities, water transmission/distribution, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning Registered Professional Engineer in California or ability to obtain registration within six months Demonstrated experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team Team‑oriented work style Ability to deliver high‑quality services within budget and schedule constraints Pay Range $104,200 to $170,700. This range reflects the lower to upper salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs.
