Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, encompassing physical exams and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging and lab results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Offer essential intraoperative support, such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and accurately passing surgical instruments
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• Must possess or be eligible for state licensure as a Physician Assistant
