Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, engaging in physical checks and detailed assessments of medical histories
• Aid in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and lab data
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide vital support during operations, including preparing the surgical setting, ensuring proper patient alignment, and managing instruments throughout the procedure
• Offer outstanding care before and after surgery, including administering medications, managing wound care, discharge planning, and guiding patient education

Educational Requirements

• A Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery preferred

Certifications Required

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
