Facility:
This comprehensive cancer center features state-of-the-art technology and advanced treatment options including daVinci robotic assisted surgery, Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator with IMRT stereotactic radiation treatment, PET/CT scans, and the region's only automated breast ultrasound (ABUS). The facility is staffed by 2 full-time physicians and 2 full-time APPs providing exceptional cancer care to the community.

Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:
• Clinic schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with potential for half day off during the week
• Handle 15-23 patients per clinic shift with primarily medical oncology and hematology patients
• 40% hematology and 60% medical oncology patient mix
• Perform consultations, follow-ups, and possible bone marrow procedures
• Light on-call duties with beeper consultation and occasional rounding requirements
• 1-2 patients typically during night call coverage
• Weekend hospital on-call with very light call volume
• Must provide minimum 2 weeks of availability (providers with less availability will not be considered)
• Seeking provider who can commit to 4 weeks per month
• Board certification required with ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications
• Active Missouri license or IMLC required
• Emergency privileges available within 60 days
• 90-day credentialing timeframe
• Fellowship training required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
