Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Elevance Counseling LLC, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnoses for a variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, using evidence-based practices.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that adapt to the needs and progress of clients, reflecting changes in their mental health status.

• Providing direct therapeutic services to clients, both individually and within family contexts, utilizing modalities that may include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or other clinically appropriate approaches.

• Collaborating with clients’ families, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support and continuity of care.

• Maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory standards, including federal and state guidelines, while operating within the scope of the Mental Health Practice Act.

• Conducting referrals to support services as needed, including medication management, peer support groups, or specialized treatment programs to enhance client recovery.

• Assisting in the development of discharge plans for patients exiting care, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless transitions.
