• Conduct a range of clinical laboratory tests- including but not limited to, hematology, biochemistry, immunology, and microbiology - following established safety and accuracy protocols.
• Evaluate test results meticulously, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Assist with specimen collection, ensuring that samples are correctly prepared for analysis.
• Document all laboratory processes with precision, mentor new team members or interns, and uphold the highest standards of quality control within the lab.
• Foster a safe, hygienic work environment, adhering strictly to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree paired with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Required Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of your employment is essential.
• Ongoing maintenance of your certification is mandatory throughout your career.
