Responsibilities Safely load and operate vertical and horizontal machining centers (3, 4, and 5 axis machines) Performs daily maintenance on equipment and cleans work area after each shift Performs manual deburring operations as needed Follows Process Routing Document. Performs inspection per Process Routing Document and legibly records results of inspection Completes reports and other associated paperwork Communicates with management, supervisor, operators, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues Follows all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms Safeguards company, customer, and supplier property (electronic, intellectual, and physical) Qualifications Must have 1-3 years of experience with Vertical/Horizontal CNC Milling High school diploma or GED is required Must have experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers Proficient with machining operations like drilling, milling and tapping Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines Demonstrates inspection competence Demonstrates basic mathematical skills Has both mechanical and technical capacity Fluency in written and spoken English is required Compensation and Benefits The BIG payoff: We are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we operate.
