Our client in Natrona Heights is looking for a Wire Cut EDM Operator to join their team.
Job Duties: - Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to produce precision components.- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD data.
- Perform machine setups including fixturing, wire threading, and program adjustments.
- Monitor machining processes to maintain tight tolerances and high-quality finishes.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Collaborate with toolmakers, machinists, and engineers to ensure project success.
- Maintain equipment and keep work areas organized and safe. Job Requirements: - Education -- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating Wire EDM machines (Mitsubishi, Makino, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
- Programming experience with Esprit or Mastercam.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
- Experience with tool & die, mold making, or precision machining is highly desirable.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- 3+ years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced training or education in a related area.
- Previous experience as a tool and die maker or related trade.
