Technical Coordinator

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Coordinator for a Contract job with a client in Irving, TX . The ideal candidate must have strong experience in network operations, network security, data center infrastructure, and technical coordination, along with the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and support enterprise network services in a regulated environment.

Rate Range: $70/hour to $75/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Coordinator job responsibilities include:

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for network and security services within the Sherman Data Center environment.
• Coordinate and manage network-related requests, incidents, escalations, and operational activities affecting enterprise connectivity services.
• Support network infrastructure services including:
  
  • WAN Connectivity, Wi-Fi Services, Proxy Services, Internet Access, Roaming Services, Network Security Services
• Coordinate activities between local data center teams, managed service providers, external vendors, business stakeholders, and enterprise network teams.
• Review and validate network and security operations performed by managed service providers to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Assess risks and business impacts associated with network and security changes prior to implementation.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning, readiness assessments, testing activities, and business continuity initiatives.
• Monitor vulnerability management activities, infrastructure upgrades, incident resolution, and continuous improvement efforts.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
• Strong experience supporting:
  
  • Network Infrastructure, Network Security
  • Data Center Operations, Technical Operations, Infrastructure Coordination.
• Experience withWAN Technologies, Wireless Networking, Proxy Solutions, Enterprise Connectivity Services, Security Operations.
• Strong understanding of Network Architecture, Cybersecurity Controls, Incident Management, Change Management, Disaster Recovery Planning, Infrastructure Governance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of ITAR Compliance, CMMC Requirements, Vulnerability Management, Network Monitoring, Infrastructure Security.
• Experience with enterprise-scale data center operations and network support organizations.
• Background supporting cybersecurity governance, operational compliance, and continuous improvement programs.
• Relevant certifications such as:
  
  • CCNA
  • CCNP
  • Security+
  • CISSP
  • Network-related certifications

Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
