Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical limitations and needs to establish comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual recovery goals. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as exercise regimens, manual therapy, and specialized equipment, to alleviate pain and enhance patient mobility. Actively document all patient interactions, treatment sessions, and progress towards goals to ensure continuity of care and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients, their families, and caregivers about their conditions and the various methods of rehabilitation, empowering them with knowledge for at-home exercises and self-care strategies. Collaborate with healthcare teams including physicians and occupational therapists to design integrated treatment approaches for complex cases. Regularly attend and participate in training sessions, workshops, and professional discussions to stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in physical therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient demographic includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, stroke, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A current State License in Physical Therapy, in good standing. Effective written and verbal communication skills to facilitate interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Proficiency in using clinical documentation software and electronic health records. A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Preferred Experience While prior work experience is not required, candidates with experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will be given preference.
