SR ACCOUNTANT

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is a 182-bed, private psychiatric hospital located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We use specialized treatments and supportive services to provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient programs with evidence-based therapies that meet the individual needs of our patients. We are currently hiring for a full-time Sr. Accountant to join our team! Responsible for month end close binder. Prepares journal entries as assigned by the CFO. Prepares reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts. Verifies and balances daily cash receipts, ensuring errors are corrected timely. Prepares month FAS submission. Prepares annual tax package and ensures compliance with 1099 reporting. Assists CFO with annual budget process. Participates in daily operations and management meetings. Provides information in response to ad hoc corporate accounting requests. Qualifications Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting. Excellent communication skills.
