Sr Accountant

Overview We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal control processes. This role will play a key part in month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, company accounting policies, and internal control requirements Assist with SOX testing, control certifications, and audit requests from internal and external auditors Analyze financial data and provide reporting support for management and business partners Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operational teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiencies, and internal controls Assist with system implementations, enhancements, and process testing initiatives Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience CPA preferred Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls Experience supporting month-end close in a complex business environment Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively across teams while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accountability #J-18808-Ljbffr
