Position Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Hours: Approximately 20 Hours Per Week

Pay Range: $26.00 - $30.00 per Hour

Reports To: Business Operations Manager (BOM)

 

About the Role

York Law Firm is seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy, and proactive Recruiter & HR Support Coordinator to help identify, attract, and onboard top talent. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter who enjoys full-cycle recruiting, applicant tracking systems, process improvement, and supporting employee onboarding and engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a strong talent pipeline while supporting HR operations, compliance, onboarding, and employee development efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for legal, administrative, and operations positions.
• Draft and post job advertisements across LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and other recruiting platforms.
• Track and report recruiting KPIs and onboarding metrics.
• Source active candidates through multiple recruiting channels.
• Conduct resume reviews, phone screens, candidate assessments, and preliminary interviews.
• Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates, hiring managers, and firm leadership.
• Perform reference checks.
• Recommend qualified candidates and provide hiring team feedback.

ATS & HR Systems Administration

• Maintain accurate candidate, interview, hiring, and onboarding records within the ATS. 
• Monitor and report on recruiting and onboarding metrics including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline health, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, onboarding completion, and new hire retention.
• Partner with hiring managers to ensure a consistent candidate experience and successful onboarding outcomes.
• Develop and maintain recruiting and onboarding dashboards to support data-driven hiring decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve ATS workflows, candidate conversion rates, onboarding efficiency, and overall hiring effectiveness.

 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Strong experience recruiting for professional, administrative, legal, operations, or HR positions.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Isolved
  • ADP
  • LinkedIn Recruiter 
  • Indeed
  • ZipRecruiter
• Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously. 
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of California employment and hiring practices.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Recruiting experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
