Corporate Legal Assistant (M&A)

Our client, a highly regarded Dallas law firm, is seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Assistant to support its busy Corporate/M&A practice, with additional support provided to the Corporate Finance team as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal assistant with a strong transactional background who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide administrative and legal support for attorneys handling corporate, M&A, and finance transactions Assist with mergers, acquisitions, closings, and other complex corporate transactions Prepare closing documents, signature packets, and closing binders Track transactions and coordinate deal logistics Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and maintain critical deadlines Coordinate Secretary of State filings, order corporate certificates, and assist with other corporate filings Prepare and send documents for electronic signature using DocuSign Communicate with clients and maintain organized transaction files Qualifications 3-5+ years of Corporate Legal Assistant experience in a law firm Corporate M&A experience is required Corporate Finance experience is highly preferred Experience supporting complex corporate transactions and closings Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, DocuSign, and document management systems such as iManage Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines Position Highlights Opportunity to support a sophisticated Corporate/M&A practice Work alongside experienced attorneys on high-profile transactions Collaborative and professional team environment Excellent long-term career growth potential If you have a strong background in Corporate M&A and are looking for your next opportunity with a respected law firm, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Burnett Staffing Specialists
